Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join a leading organization in the Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure sector. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout all phases of construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for construction projects, including civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and drawings.
- Monitor and control the use of materials and equipment to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Review and approve subcontractors’ quality plans and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit quality reports to project management and clients.
- Conduct quality awareness training for site personnel.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve quality objectives.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the construction industry, preferably in [mention specific sectors like Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure].
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
